Until now, humanity never failed to create progress. When observing the world issues of today from that angle, you can see that there is always hope for a better future. We are not individuals only, we are also part of a system (humanity) what over generations always finds new ways to overcome challenges. Adaptability is our biggest strength. Because fear is the strongest emotion, the press is fear focused and skews our mind. Luckily, there are publications about our (humanity) real progress.

The Copenhagen Consensus Center is a think tank that researches and publishes the best ways for governments and philanthropists to spend their money, based on hard facts. The organization was formed in 2006, following the success of the first meeting of the Copenhagen Consensus two years before.

As a researcher and writer, Bjorn Lomborg is identifying the most intelligent approaches to create positive impact. He is president of the Copenhagen Consensus Center, and has collaborated with hundreds of leading economists through the organization. Bjorns publications discover and advocate the most efficient solutions to tackle some of the world's most pressing issues.

HumanProgress.org is a project of the Cato Institute with major support from the John Templeton Foundation and the Searle Freedom Trust, as well as additional funding from the B & E Collins Foundation, and William H. Donner Foundation. The website requires no registration or membership. All of its content and features can be used for free, but acknowledgment is always appreciated.
